A Better Lunchbox – Week 20, January 18 – 20 2011

Monday was a holiday (Martin Luther King Day) for both Sofie and Jeromy so we went up to Napa for the long weekend. I’ve been posting on our Napa trip a lot, so if you are thinking about heading there yourself, be sure to check out some of my reviews and recommendations.

  1. Crystal says:

What kind of tortillas do you use?

    • Jeannie Carriere says:

They are called Sonoma Organic Wraps, Traditional. Even though they are labeled as wraps, they are really large tortillas made with olive oil. I like them because they are ogranic, very tasty and last a long time in the fridge. We always have them on hand for quick meals. They also advertise being committed to sustainable practices. I get them at Whole Foods. I need to try more whole wheat/grain tortillas…haven’t found one I like yet.

      • Jeannie Carriere says:

A closer look at the package (there is too much text!) says they are made by “La Tortilla Factory”. I also just bought a package of their whole wheat ones, will see if they fly with the little one!
