Pepperidge Farm Goldfish– A Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing
While I generally tried to avoid mass produced packaged products, or at least opt for more wholesome brands, I am guilty of letting my daughter eat Pepperidge Farm Goldfish.
It happens those times I find myself in a store that carries them, my daughter wants a fun snack and lights up at the cute critters. They are so easy, seem so harmless (how bad can a little fish shaped cheese cracker be?) and it seems almost every kid eats them often.
The article I have linked to below is a good reminder of just how bad a cute little cheese cracker can be, along with basically everything else Pepperidge farm makes and why they should be avoided. It also sadly highlights how a good initial intention can be warped over time.

While I am not fanatic, I will no longer buy Goldfish for my daughter. If she is at a group gathering and they happen to be there I won’t stop her from enjoying a few, but that will be it. Thanks for the reminder to be more diligent Food Babe.
